The Shureido New Wave 3 WKF jacket is designed for kata, made from a polycotton blend to provide maximum firmness, durability, and presence in competition.

The New Wave 3 features an advanced yarn construction:
- High-resistance polyester core
- Cotton outer layer for a more natural feel
The result is a structured, durable fabric with optimal firmness for kata, maintaining its shape naturally even after repeated use and washing.
Unlike other karategi that rely on artificial stiffness that fades over time, the NW-3 retains its technical performance, delivering a consistent response and a clean, well-defined snap in every movement.
Its competition-oriented cut provides a more tailored fit, with a jacket skirt that stays properly in place, supporting precise execution and a sharp visual presentation.

Important note on color
Due to Shureido’s manufacturing process, new garments may show a slight bluish tint, applied to protect the fabric and help maintain a brighter white for longer.
When combined with previously used garments, a slight difference in tone may be noticeable at first. This evens out progressively with washing.
